Michael Morpurgo Box Set, 6 Books Collection Set(The Mozart Question ,The Kites Are Flying! ,Bailey Homecoming ,I Believe in Unicorns ,This Morning I Met A Whale ,Place Meeting Cezanne). 1.I read this book by myself and found it very interesting. I particularly liked the Unicorn Lady and the stories that she read. The end was sad - I didn't like the war. War is never good. I would like to receive another book by Michael Morpurgo for Christmas. 2.I read this to my Year 3&4 class and we all loved it. A sensitive tale which inspired my young listeners to go on to do some excellent extended writing. 3.This is a slight book, short, only just adequate as a present. However "it does what it says on the tin"; it introduces children gently to the painful subject of the holocaust with Morpurgo's usual skill. the pictures of people in the a concentration camp are perhaps less dreadful than they should be, even for children. However these sub-Turner illustrations of Venice are delightful, and introduce children to this lovely city. 4.Ideal book for children with wonderful pictures to be enjoyed. 5.Lovely little book, I enjoyed the story and really liked the illustrations, ideal for reading to children and then introducing his paintings, but enjoyable in own right too, 6.A book that every parent should read to, or with their children and then promptly borrow to any adult who has become indifferent to the human effects of warfare. For children with little to know experience of the terrors of war this book wil engage with them in the most sensitive yet unpatronising of ways, and for those children who maybe in the midst of such a reality. Then this book will speak to them to ,as it offers them a truly empathetic voice. What more can I say it is brillia
